Owned 60:40 by Malaysia’s strategic investment fund, Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, Singapore’s state-owned investment firm, M+S Pte Ltd was established on 27 June 2011 to develop four parcels of land in Marina South and two parcels of land in Ophir-Rochor, each as an (integrated|mixed use} development of Marina One and DUO respectively.

An indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of UEM Land Holdings Berhad (“UEM Land”), a property company within the portfolio of Khazanah, and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd (“Mapletree”), a Temasek portfolio company were appointed to oversee the project’s marketing and progress at Marina South. For the Ophir-Rochor site, UEM Land and another Temasek portfolio organization, CapitaLand Limited’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary (“CapitaLand”), are named to oversee marketing and expansion.

Both Khazanah and Temasek are committed to the effective commercialisation of these land parcels, including residential, office, hotel and retail components.
